OCSS Common Room Opens with Oktoberfest Cheers

Whilst Singapore may not offer Munich's bustling beer gardens and crisp early autumnal weather, Oxbridgians can still find a way to celebrate Oktoberfest, and in the midst of a pandemic too.

Joined both in person and online, the OCSS teamed up with CRUST, purveyors of sustainable Beers, for a craft beer tasting evening to inaugurate the first of the Society's 'Common Room' social events.

Organised by committee member Purnima Gandhi, the event, while hosted online was a welcome break from the new normal of 'work from home' as OCSS members relished the opportunity to socialise albeit virtually, over a slow beer. Our thanks to Purnima for 'The Common Room'.
