Dr. Lex Smith Washington, associate professor in the Department of Management, Spears Business, was the recipient of the 2022 Sucheta Nadkarni Award for Outstanding Publication on Women Executive Leadership for co-authoring the 2019 paper, Making the invisible visible: Paradoxical effects of intersectional invisibility on the career experiences of executive Black women.

This award is sponsored by Cambridge Judge Business School and is in memory of Sucheta Nadkarni, gender equality champion and Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School director.
