To understand how the job market reacts to the AI boom, an international team of researchers, including Dr Fabian Braesemann from the University of Oxford’s Oxford Internet Institute, analysed millions of data points from an online freelancing platform. Looking ahead, Dr. Braesemann argues that there are many opportunities but also challenges coming with the spread of AI for employers and employees.
