Professor Anthony Harnden, of Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford, and former Deputy Chair of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), has been appointed Chair of the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
